1. A Crunchy Cookie Revelation

   I recently had the pleasure of tasting a selection of cookies from Wackym’s Kitchen, and I can confidently say—they’re unlike any cookies I’ve had before.
   
   I started with the Salted Caramel, which immediately impressed me with its bold flavor. The caramel was rich and buttery, and the salt added just the right contrast to keep it from being overly sweet. The texture was perfectly crisp, almost like a shortbread but with more snap. It’s the kind of cookie that makes you pause after the first bite just to appreciate how good it is.
   
   Next up was the Lemon Shortbread, and wow—this one stole the show. Bright, tangy, and intensely lemony, it tasted like sunshine in cookie form. The citrus flavor was natural and vibrant, not artificial, and the cookie itself had a delicate crunch that melted in my mouth.
   
   I also tried the Cherry Oatmeal Walnut, which felt more rustic and hearty. The oats gave it a chewy texture, while the cherries added a tart sweetness that balanced beautifully with the earthy walnuts. It felt like a cookie you could eat for breakfast and not feel guilty about.
   
   What I love most about Wackym’s Kitchen is their fearless approach to flavor. These aren’t your average cookies—they’re bold, inventive, and crafted with care. You can tell each recipe has been tested and perfected, and the quality of ingredients really shines through.
   
   Final Thoughts:
   If you’re a cookie lover looking for something beyond the usual, Wackym’s Kitchen is a must-try. Their cookies are crunchy, flavorful, and full of personality. I’ll definitely be going back for more—especially that Lemon Shortbread.

2. Hatch Chile Chocolate Chip

   The Hatch Chile are the very best! Such a great combo of sweet, salty and spicy. They are only available for a couple of months every year so I bulk up to last me the year. This year Paul Wackym was kind enough to send me his last 14 boxes. It meant a lot to me. Don’t miss out on the Salted Caramel. Those are scrumptious as well.

   First purchased these in a retail store that is not a very covenient location; but loved them so much I went to internet.
   Since 4 pkgs is the order size, I decided to add salted caramel to my original order of lemon. Yummy crunchy treat for just a few calories if you can limit yourself to just 1 or 2!
   The packaging is fantastic. They arrive just as you'd expect.

6. Hatch Chocolate Chip needs to be year round

   These cookies are so good! The heat from the green chile seasoning is just right and sneaks up on you. I can’t find any stores in Conroe area and glad I can order them online. I hope Wackym's will make these year round.

   The Blueberry cookies were just the right amount of sweetness with the signature crunch. Fantastic. The Temptress is a favorite and I am happy to see it returned this year. YUMMY!

8. Every new flavor we try is a delight!

   We are working our way through every flavor that Wackym's Kitchen makes, and we have never been disappointed! Each new cookie is a surprise and a delight, with the addition of an unexpected ingredient that raises the flavor of the cookie above another brand that may make something similar. Take, for example, The Temptress, my new favorite! I don't care for stout to drink, but the milk stout used in this recipe brings an incredible flavor and depth to it that I wasn't expecting, and the molasses in it ( a flavor I've also never enjoyed until now) imparted a flavor that I really enjoyed without it being overbearing. SO good. I also love the seasonal Cherry Lemon as well as the Cherry Oatmeal Walnut cookie, which is my husband's favorite. We've also give these as gifts, and the recipients love them!
